Zachary Scholze
Owner/President
Zach, a native of Penn Hills, PA, and a proud graduate of Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, has been immersed in the world of property management since his early years. Growing up with his father, Steve, who owned rental properties, Zach quickly became an indispensable asset, always ready to lend a hand. This invaluable experience propelled him towards a career in the building trades, initially joining a general contractor’s crew and later finding his niche at a prominent commercial roofing company.
In 2004, armed with nothing more than an old van, a ladder, and a credit card, Zach fearlessly established Always Perfect Contracting. Through unwavering dedication, he has transformed the company into a thriving enterprise, steadfastly committed to delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the highest construction standards. Above all, Zach strives to elevate ethical practices within the industry, setting a new benchmark for integrity.
When he’s not orchestrating operations at APC, Zach finds solace in nature’s embrace. Whether he’s exploring the wilderness, indulging in live concerts, reliving nostalgic moments through retro video games, or cherishing quality time with his beloved wife and sons, he embraces life’s diverse experiences with passion and joy.
Ryan Hankey
Project Manager/Sales
Ryan has been with Always Perfect Contracting since its inception in 2004. He has over 25 years experience in roofing, carpentry and home renovation. He is passionate and uncompromising about the quality of his work and customer service. Ryan truly loves home renovation and enjoys staying on the cutting edge of the newest products and technology in the industry. When he’s not at work he enjoys the outdoors, mixed martial arts, boxing and barbecue.
John Hankey
Project Manager
With 30 years of experience in exterior remodeling, 15 of those right here with us—John combines deep technical 'know-how' with proven leadership. He’s a dual-threat in labor and management who has tackled just about every task imaginable. In his spare time he enjoys playing roller hockey, video games, comedy, and hanging out with his dog, Bruiser.
Henderson Greene
Service Technician
Henderson has been with Always Perfect Contracting since 2015. He has over 30 years of experience in construction and home renovation. When he is not at work he enjoys hunting, fishing, his two dogs, working on cars and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Robert Schnupp
Service Technician
Robert has over 10 years of roofing experience and has been a team member since 2020. Robert is passionate about his work and often finds simple solutions to complex problems. He has an affinity for power tools that would put Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor to shame. He enjoys the outdoors, working on cars, and spending time with his wife and son.
Japheth Wambua
Project Manager
Japheth has been working for Always Perfect since 2014. He joined the team with very little experience and has since developed into a very skilled technician. He has a high energy level and often provides motivation to his coworkers when it is most needed. In his free time he enjoys music, auto racing, spending time with his daughters and returning to visit his native Kenya.
Eric Jennings
Lead Carpenter
Eric looks forward to movie night with his son and splurging on snacks. He loves to light up the grill spontaneously and only burns things occasionally. He and his son have a variety of exotic animals, including an exotic snake. Eric is excellent at creating things with his hands and enjoys a hard day's work. He is involved with his church and loves Jesus. He's also the world's best backwards driver.
